May 2011

First there was the 1st gen ipod not syncing with the new cloud servers...
then there was all of the spam coming in on the mobileme account all of a sudden
(which the answer was to adjust my spam filters)
I never had to adjust them before.

Follow up...

1st Generation Ipod Touch users will not be supported with the new mobileme cal system.
They will need to BUY a NEW ipod with iOS4 or higher. Seriously Apple?
That's a shame. Shame on you.
Make a fix and keep the people that go out and buy your 1st Gen products.
1st Generation supporters of Apple products should not be penalized. A fix should be created.
If not then why would anyone buy an Apple 1st Generation product
knowing a software issue could cause them to lose out on the experience.
I expect more from a company post 2nd Quarter numbers like $20 billion.
Every customer is important! Every Single One!
Now to question do I really need a $99 a year mobileme account.

Syncing Leopard with the new iCal

May 2011

After receiving the alert that the upgrade was a do or die situation.
I upgraded to the new iCal. I run Leopard not Snow Leopard, which
is recommended. After syncing and receiving several alert messages,
I found that on my mac my calendars were missing. I logged in to mobileme
and the calendars where there. After following these steps the calendars
are back to normal. Good Luck All.
